You can make this recipe with fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries with sugar, lemon zest with homemade crust on top.

What’s cobbler crust made of?

The cobbler crust is made with flour, butter, sugar and shortening to roll out and place on top of the blueberry filling.

What’s blueberry filling made of?

The blueberry filling is made with blueberries, granulated sugar and lemon zest, butter. In a bowl stir together the ingredients and pour into a cast iron skillet or baking pan and bake for 45 minutes until light golden brown.


How To Make Blueberry Cobbler:

Ingredients:

Filling:

• 5 cups Fresh or Frozen Blueberries

• 4 tbsp. Butter

• 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

• 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from one Lemon

Cobbler Crust:

• 1 cup Self Rising Flour

• 1 cup Granulated Sugar

• 3/4 cup Milk

• 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a cast iron skillet or baking dish with cooking spray.

In a saucepan, melt butter and then add in the blueberries, sugar and lemon zest, cook while stirring to all combine

Make the cobbler crust:

In a bowl, mix together all the crust ingredients until combined.

In a cast iron skillet or baking sheet pour blueberry filling in and place the cobbler crust on top.

Bake for 45 minutes until light golden brown and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
