Apple Fritters

A homemade apple fritters is sweet with apples and cinnamon.

Do you bake or fry apple fritters?

You can do either one, but deep frying the apple fritters comes out more crispy.

What’s the batter ingredients?

The batter is made with flour, sugar and cinnamon, eggs and milk in a bowl mix together. To dip diced apples in the batter and fry them hot oil.

What’s glaze ingredients?

The glaze recipe is only 3 ingredients, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract mix together in a bowl and drizzle over the fried apple fritters.

What’s the best apples to use?

The best apples to use is Granny Smith apples or Honey Crisp.


How To Make Apple Fritters

Instructions:

• 3 Apples, peeled, cored and diced

• Vegetable Oil for frying

Batter:

• 1 cup Flour

• 2 Eggs

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 1 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

• 1/2 cup Sugar

Glaze:

• 1/2 cup Milk

• 1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 2 cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon, sugar until combined.

In another bowl, whisk milk and eggs together.

Dip the apples slices in the flour mixture and then egg mixture.

In a skillet with hot oil over med high heat, place apples in and fry in batches for 2 minutes on both sides.

Place the fried apple fritters on paperlined plate to drain off excess grease and then place them on platter.

In a bowl, stir the glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the warm apple fritters and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
