
How To Make Chicken and Dumplings:
Ingredients:
• 4 cups Shredded Cooked Chicken
• 4 cans Chicken Broth
• 4 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
• 4 Carrots, peeled and diced
•1/2 Onions, diced
• 3 Celery, diced
• Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Dumplings:
• 1 cup Self Rising Flour
• 1 tsp. Sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Salt
• 1 tbsp. Butter
• 1/4 cup Milk
Instructions:
In a stock pot over med high heat, add in the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, bring it to a boil.
Then add in the carrots, onions and celery, salt and black pepper, let it simmer until veggies are tender.
Now add in the shredded chicken and let everything cook for 20 minutes.
Make The Dumplings:
In a mixing bowl, add in the flour and sugar, salt, mix well and add in the butter, milk, stirring occasionally.
On a flour surface, roll out the dough and use rolling pin to roll the dough to flat. Now cut the dough in strips and drop in the chicken mixture, let it all cook for 50 minutes until dough is ready and chicken mixture is a sauce thickened. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
