
How To Make Apple Pie Turnover:
Ingredients:
• 6 Green Apples, peeled and diced
• 1/4 cup Sugar
• 1 tbsp. Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp. Butter
• 1 tsp. Cornstarch
• 2 tbsp. Water
• Store Brought Puff Pastry
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a baking dish with cooking spray.
In a pot over med high heat, add in apples, water, cornstarch, cinnamon and butter, sugar, bring it to boil and cook for 30 minutes until apples are tender and the pie filling is thickened. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Take puff pastry out of the package and roll out on flour surface. Cut the pastry in half and spoon tbsp. of pie filling into pastry and seal it with it with melted butter. Repeat this steps until all pies are completed.
Place pie turnover on greased baking dish and bake for 45 minutes until light golden brown and filling is bubbly hot. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
