Lemon Loaf Cake

Lemon loaf cake is moist and flavored with lemons have topped with powdered sugar.

How To Make Lemon Loaf Cake:

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Self-Rising Flour

• 2 cups Granulated Sugar

• 1/2 tsp. Salt

• 3 Eggs

• 2 sticks Unsalted Butter, softened

• 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

• 3 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice

• 1 tsp. Lemon Zest from one lemon

• Powdered Sugar for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and greased a loaf pan .

In a bowl of stand up mixer , beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at time, beating. Add in the vanilla extract, lemon zest lemon juice, beat well about 2 minutes.

In a mixing bowl add in flour and granulated sugar, salt, mix well. Pour in the butter/sugar mixture, beat well combined. Pour the cake batter into a loaf pan.

Bake for 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle powered sugar on top of the cake and serve.
