How To Make Homemade Lemon Ice Cream:
Ingredients:
· 1 cup Whole Milk
· 1 cup Heavy Whipped Cream
· 3/4 cup Sugar
· 1/8 tsp. Salt
· 2 tbsp. Vanilla Extract
· 1/2 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice from 1 lemon
· 1 tbsp. Fresh Lemon Zest from 1 lemon
instructions:
· Place ice cream maker bowl in the freezer for 24 hours.
· In a large mixing bowl, add in the milk, whipped cream and sugar, salt, vanilla extract. Add in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.
· Now remove milk mixture from the refrigerator and slowly whisk.
· Take ice cream maker bowl out of the freezer and place in the ice cream maker.
· Pour ice cream mixer into ice cream maker bowl and add the paddle and lock the lid.
· Let ice cream churn for 20 minutes and after it’s finished put in the freezer in airtight container until freeze. Serve lemon ice cream bowls add fresh lemon zest. Enjoy!
