How do you prepare bread bowls for soup?

Sourdough bread is use in this recipe and to prepare bread for soup is cut top off and use spoon to scoop out the bread inside set aside. Pour the soup inside the bread bowl.

The ingredients in soup are, broccoli, carrots and onion, chicken broth, flour, heavy cream, butter, cheddar cheese, salt and black pepper.

How To Make Broccoli Cheddar Cheese:

Ingredients:

· 1 bag of frozen Broccoli

· 2 cups of Carrots, cut into pieces

· 1 Onions, chopped

· 1/4 cup Flour

· 2 cup Heavy Cream

· 3 cup Chicken Broth

· 4 tbsp. Unsalted Butter

· Salt and Black Pepper to taste

· 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

· 1 round Sourdough Bread

Instructions:

· In a pot over med high heat, saute onions about 5 minutes.

· Add in the flour in the pot cook golden and add heavy cream, stirring occasionally for 4 minutes.

· Stir in chicken stock into heavy cream mixture and bring to simmer, stirring, cook until mixture is thickened about 20 minutes.

· Add in the carrots, cook until tender about 10 minutes. Add in the broccoli and cook for additional 10 minutes.

· Add in cheese in veggies until cheese melts and season with salt, black pepper.

· Using a knife cut a circle on the top of sourdough bread. Remove bread out using a spoon, set aside.

· Pour broccoli cheese soup in hollow of the sourdough bread. Serve.
